International Cooling Tower
ICT — Recent Projects Profiles
- Major Oil Upgrader
- New 18 & 5 cell crossflow cooling towers designed with automated temperature and de–icing control systems.
- Ethylene Complex
- New 16, 4, & 5 cell crossflow cooling towers designed with automated temperature and de–icing control systems.
- Central Utilities Plant
- Architectural remodelling and rebuild of two old towers (3 cells) serving the central utilities in the heart of Dow headquarters.
- Coal–fired Power Plant
- Upgrade 14 cells and turnkey addition of two single–cells to existing cooling towers, including concrete basin extension, deluge, and piping.
- Thermal Power Plant
- Redesign, extend, and rebuild a 28 cell tower to 36 cells in order to increase thermal capacity by 30% and renew the 25 year service life.
- Fertilizer Plant
- New 5 cell crossflow and 1 cell counerflow.
- Polyethylene Plant
- Turnkey addition of one cell tower including components interchangeable with existing equipment.
- 320MW Cogeneration Facility
- 7 cell crossflow cooling tower.
- Combined Cycle Power Plant
- 3 cell FRP tower filled with a suspended non–fouling splash poly grid.
- Sugar Refinery
- 2 cell counterflow tower with a non–fouling splash fill at a food processing plant.
- New Counterflow Tower
- New 12 cell film–filled counterflow to be built in 2004 for a power plant.
- Roof Top Cooling Tower
- 100% of the structure, fill, and eliminators were replaced in this tower to renew its 25 year life. The elevator was used, saving the owner the cost of helicopters, re–piping, and new motor control as would be required with a new tower.
- Institutional Cooling Tower
- These film–filled counterflow towers replace several smaller undersized steel towers. A plumbing and motor control maze is greatly reduced.
- Pulp and Paper Mill
- 2 cell film–filled counterflow cooling tower in very close quarters.
